My dear Lady, this love token I take
Of thy true love and unbound affection;
To be borne on my chest to banish all ache,
A cherished beam of your own reflection.
And as I raise my lance to aim my foe,
Silent hush falls over tournament square;
The force of your love shall brightly glow
And guide to victory the point of my flare.
But should my own Fate yet unkind prevail
And aim to tear your own Light from my chest;
My heart and my hand in this life shall not fail,
Your token of silver only death can wrest:
For if it shall fall and from me thus part,
So it will follow my own splintered heart.

I can see you haven't lost your touch.  Yet another fine piece you have penned.

Take care.......Sue

Forever In Your Heart

My love will give you strength,
to conquer thy deadly foe,
for it is wide, infinity in length,
all my affections on you I bestow,

Brave ye are, my noble knight,
to give your life for me,
love so strong beating red,bright,
Looking into thy emerald eyes I see,

Love so true, devotion,
I see myself inside those green fields,
I see and feel your souls lotion,
rubbing all over me, my heart yields,

No splinter shall inflict,
for my love is your shield,
coating, covering you to protect,
so my love will not be killed,

Victory is yours my love,
the battle is already won,
For it is written in the stars above,
that you and I are already one,

No man can separate us forever,
for flesh is just flesh,
for our hearts and souls are sewn together,
allowing fate and love to to the rest....

You are the bravest knight, my Arthur...Pride is glowing upon my face in a form of a smile....no other knight in the land honors me so!

My dear Lady of the Red Velvet Cloak,

You honor me well beyond my true worth.

No words I could ever write, could ever match the raw emotion contained within yours.

I thank you from the depth of my still unsplintered heart.

Your Knight,
Arthur

Very romantic. Methinks I couldst grow never weary of thine words.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Great writes that I have read between the Fair Lady and her Knight.
