A roaring lion
syncronized to a crackling
as a flame
they are one voice
raised in the rage of a heartbeat
a body ready to swipe
to fight
to crush

potency within the soul
they are his eyes
black
deep as stone
alive the fury
so strongly held
as a flash before the mind

bold,
he tells me all of his darkest fears
his passions
his tears

and i beg to become one with those eyes
his hurt
his life
his world
