For you have
filled this heart
with such sorrow~
this night
ends a soul's dream
of all tomorrows~

it is  a night
that my eyes shed
many a tear
for thee~
as no
other
love touched
these eyes with
visions of a
soul's love
eternally~

for you are
but a dream
a vision for which
miles and time
come inbetween

a  touch
of ones hand

a warm
embrace~

a kiss
no other
lips could
erace~

there is  not a day
that goes by that my
heart shall
forget
as regret
deepens with
a souls cry~
leaving only
a hearts
tearful
sigh~

as parting is all
but such sweet
sorrows~
yet a good bye
is without
your love
in my
tomorrows~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

Marsha, this is a lovely effort,
full of soft grace. I would only
question one word, "eternity",
thinking that maybe "eternally"
[second stanza, last line]
would better suit the frame
of the stanza? Simply a suggestion.

Yes, a very good effort!

The Bards title should have given an idea of what this was going to be like...very good...Romeo himself would have liked it..thank you...

The poem in entirety is special,  but these
are even more...

as parting is all
but such sweet
sorrows~
yet a good bye
is without
your love
in my
tomorrows~
