Incredible is how you explain my heart
But yet a relationship you dismiss to start
You say in me you can always confide
But now you feelings towards me are blind
Even said I would be the perfect wife
However you avoid getting deeper in my life
All this confusion has caused me to cry
But signs have shown me the reason why
You will only see me as a friend
And this reason is difficult to comprehend
I won't get the love that I deserve
Because I don't possess the perfect curve
My body goes beyond a petite size 8
So for that reason, we cannot date?
Now my mind is beginning to understand
Why you politely refuse to hold my hand
My body won't give you desires of temptation
The fact that it's true brings me frustration
Even though you say my deamour is kind
My body distracts you from loving my mind
I don't know what else to say
It's hard to believe you think this way
You seem to be appalled at my sight
My feelings for you now don't seem right
I ponder if I should sit and wait
But I know inside that it's too late
My body you can't seem to look past
And for that reason, our friendship won't last
For a moment, it made me sad
But now I have reason to be glad
Cause in my mind, I hold no doubt
Someone will love me, both inside and out

It is pretty sad that so many people are hung up on looks, but I am glad that there is a hope in your heart because there is people out there who are not so shallow and who appreciate true beauty. Good work

heartfelt hugs to you
m'friend~
and you shall find one to love
you inside and out~
outside eventually fades with age~
inside grows more beautiful with age~
and you are well on your way~

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~

It's a shame.  His loss!  I imagine you as a warm, caring person with the honesty that will bridge trust. Keep good thoughts going about yourself.   (and those size 8s will change over the years anyway... you're right, they are not the important thing here!)

I loved this....and I too have been here...finally feels good to let them go too!  If the body is all anyone sees then they truly are not worth it!  A very dear friend taught me that...and some thing I will take with me always!

Good luck in your journey to let him go...you will be better off in the long run!

Take care,

Becka
