I Stood

I stood before a temples door
It’s one I’ve never seen before
Made of phantoms layered bone
Mortared bone to look like stone

The door lay open to my stare
And there within a dim lit lair
Walked the ghosts of minds guitar
Reaching for a sky of star

Caught within a gale of pour
Grasping for the evermore
They sang a song of grunt and groan
Exasperations song of moan

I looked away this sight of fright
Into the stars the lit my light
And swore that I would change my way
And stay within my path of stay

To stay within this garden earth
And live the Eden of my birth

I had a few doors beckoning me last night...
I think is was the Mexican lunch I ate.
