Fiery Lady

Unaided my ship is drawn to your Sun,
I am but a sailor bound to the mast.
For your flaming heart has its magic spun
And the spell of your love has been cast.
Resist I cannot, I’ve taken the bait —
Onto your island I helpless capsize.
There spellbound I’m drawn, I follow my fate
And blissfully drown in your dark, liquid eyes.
To you, my Lady, my heart yields a plea —
My yearning heart would your flaming heart choose;
For as the Queen of the land and the sea
You have lit an unquenchable fuse —
Oh, burn now! Burn your fire within!
