she will bring you happy flowers
take with her the sky, and a
woman who’s name is Maria
with eye’s that are filled with
fog and rain
and
she will take autumn
her wide-eyed dreams that break
behind spattered lids

and there
you could look-out into them
to see a suburb, a house
perhaps some trees or daisies
even balconies that hold her
with sea-music in blue

and perhaps one into another
you’d clutch the hem of skirts
bite the mouth of night

to undo the distances
in rainy moments.

and i knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
~Buckingham/Nicks

That reads so nice to me.  I saw a card today with a gold fish batting his eyes from the inside of his fish bowl, with an ocean view outside the window. The sentiment read, enjoy your new view.  Reminds me that life's rewards are not always tangible ones.  Anyway, I liked your poem a lot,  Maree~

Maree

You do undo distance with the way you see.

Gads, Maree...you are undoing strings here...violins and guitars are naked in their vibrant sing of this wonderful song!
