Throwing hand grenades at treachery
I sit on the purse of morning…
Stacking milk crates in my attic
Unbuttoned blouse of relaxed age
Bagging and droopy
Animate...
Armed with map & buoyant illusions
Dusting off classics
Ranting bout dreams I’ve touched
Like a watchful beneficiary
Holding fierce storms like a mystery
Still loving a long gone grand-mama

Sentiment crawls slowly through the night
Like the sons/daughters of Christians
Making unsturdy buildings quake
Ears standing up while
A curse points his fingers
Seeking lost souls at ocean depths
Robbing their tombs, their livelihood
Nonchalant, like kites flowing overhead
But…
Indwelling nature follows poltergeist dictation
Guilt for betrayal, lies
Praying to never loose this cap of insanity
That everyone believes me to wear

Feeling different, and yet…certain
Climbing fraternal orders of mountains
Dwelling within the spirits of man
In appreciation of their Bibles
Wanting to speak my own language
Understanding there’s

It’s the missing link, I hate
Chicken soup withdrawing itself
Choosing creatures of the realms
Cosmic discrimination divorces fairness

It is then I wash the floors of the Ashram
Empowering collected sails
Across the twin of flesh
Able to hear up to the very end
Not leaving the side of all those trees
My brothers planted
For the sake of fitting in or on the train

Whatever it is that you have, I think much more then insanity, but many things mixed with a genius for being able to illustrate with your words just what you are and feel.  I admire you greatly!

DAMN!  Girl, this one is a classic!

Now, you know I don't often let loose with an expletive like that, but good gads gal...I just about lost it over several lines! Thinking "yes, THIS! and THIS!!"

Geez...

I'm glad I scrolled down.

I too, enjoyed your opening gambit of

"Throwing hand grenades at treachery"

Yes indeed.

and sometimes I just pull the pin and wait.

You've got so much spunk, lady, but it is tempered with compassion.

I could learn much from you.

It sounds like you've been burned, Lee, but you are wiser for it, but no less intolerant.  Slick writing.
