Wanting...No More

It was in that glass
between the layers
this morning's view
was not the best.
For the tears that trickled
distorted tomorrow's picture
once more.

And the cold air mixed with the warmth,
frosting the face looking back,
the lines taut, the frown precise,
practicing between fake smiles
wondering what is the meaning behind
these hazel eyes that sting
from the hurt.

Wanting...no more.

This makes me sad ... for I have seen the brilliant smile beneath those hazel eyes ... and want so much to see it to beam once more~

It returns....under two conditions....when you're ready, not just wanting but ready for it to return....and, when you least expect it!
