I sit at my job
At 6:45 in the morning
Looking out the one window
To the outside world
Waiting for the sun to rise
And shine in on me

Poetry is beauty in words.

Sun always warms our inner hearts and nourishes our inner being...thank you...

very expressive piece in so few words--we all have felt this way and you hit the moment or moments on the head---but the sun does shine when we least expect it!

Me too.... but it never does....because I don't have a window!

Yet at the same time it does rise for me, because.....it is brought to me, every single day, served up on a silver platter.....and in ways that don't involve the nearest star clearing the horizon.

You are lucky to have a window - and to feel the sun - and hopefully to know the sun on more than just one level

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .
