let my name
be the breath upon your lips
inhaled
savored
then devoured
in hunger

will you taste of me?

whisper me
into your memory
hold me
in a mind meld
shatter me
into a thousand pieces

then pick me up again . . .

I am yours
this body offered
this heart rendered
this soul bound

will you take me?

will you make me
part of you
woven into your threads
tied with the knot of love
and entwined
in limbs

then never let me go . . .

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

susan
need you ask
does the dawn not speak
and the evening not whisper
that the inside of your thought
is the outside of my day dream

Susan- If all love poetry were like this, then I would, no doubt, be more inclined to read it more often.

Outstanding job.
