Walking along
these drifts of snow,
I am lost        in pristine beauty
and smile at soft recall

      In moonlight of long ago
           we danced,
             two silhouettes embraced
                  in loves shadows.

Frozen in tender touch of love
we were unaware

   of how bitter cold stings,
     and oblivious to passing time.

A hushed sigh escapes,
    unnoticed
          this spill of longing

slips
    into stillness of skies

      darker now, even though
              millions of stars shine brighter.

This midnight of blue becomes me.

let me dig a lil deeper,
nah, still nothing..
my give a damn is busted....Jodee

Those are, indeed, the good times.
Beautiful poem, dear...with a tinge of lonely.

This midnight of blue becomes me.

Yes it does, but I wish it didn't!
Remember, there's a dream for every star.

I felt you here, Donna~
