I suppose it all began
I was alone on the sand
my flesh wrapped in skin
when the breath of life
wafted up a nostril.

Visual organs opened
I lay in pain
for lack of a rib
it was for another companionship
today I live alone

I suppose it all began
alone on the sand
in the grass, meadow, ravine
where the dust collects
skin wrapped flesh
hearts beated
eyes blinked in wonder
about that transformed rib company

today I live alone
even in the company of others
it all began on the sand
particles collected
formed under the eye of an entity
Tomorrow where will it begin again
once the dust blows away?

Martin,

you have a huge philosophical discussion right here:

Tomorrow where will it begin again
once the dust blows away?

Yup....pick yourself up "dust" yourself off.....and it starts all over again...with or without the other rib. Great write.
hugs, Chris
