that is the question
as the weather is playing games with us
and it feels like summer today
but just wait
till tomorrow
eh?
and its always been easier in Alaska,
as the natives know not to plant
until June 1 or 2
no matter what the skies reveal
and I remember the 'mini-blizzard' we had
in our neck-of-the-woods
a few years ago in the interior
on the 4th of July

but still, I ask the skies
'to plant, or not to plant?'
the ultimate gardener's question

Kacy

I don't know...depends on what you want to plant, I guess.  I'll bet your local nursery would be able to tell you.

lol
thye are all guessing too, as the weather here has been drier and warmer than usual
but we still might have a cold snap, so it's really a toss of the dice
though all the spring flowers and birds are saying
winter is over

and it's not just about planting living things!  My grandpa swore that if you planted fence posts during the wrong moon that they'd lean crooked!

So you have Spring Fever, too?  Bottle me up some sunshine and send my way if you get it before we do!  A snow day here...

Well, in my neck of the woods the answer is quite obvious! ~ Do not plant! Here there is snow, snow, snow ~ and more snow! lol

hahaha I love this because last year I actually planted too late and had remnants of a blooming garden in October, although
it is hard to guess here, sheesh with snow on the dirt . . .

we never plant until after May 1rst...

Lately we have had  snow so there is nothing to plant unless you wish to throw down some grass seed.

(of course you can always start some plant seed inside)
