I am caught within moments.

Memories attempt, desperately
to hold me over
until I can be close, once again.

It's nothing more
than fleeting pictures, a slideshow of life
blinding me, scarring my vision
melding fantasy to reality;
until I am battered, bruised and bleeding.

It's nothing less
than sentimental moments,
frozen and embittered
stoic, settled in my bones,
which gasp for air,
needing to scream and breathe.

and so I breathe...
try to still the silence
before the ache of you
shatters the sound of alone
into shards of angry, unintelligible
fragments of speech

wrenching emotions dry
clearing my thoughts of you
wishing only for that clarity
to hold me over,
until I can be close again.

~Littlewing, and SEA

*thank you so much Sue for writing with me!

Gosh, neither of you needs a man! You two are joined at the ~ wrists! ~ with both of you holding onto one pen! I truly could not tell where one of you stopped and the other began!

A perfect blend of poetic talent!

I would not have expected less than perfection from a melding of words between you two, and I can see that I was not wrong.  Lovely dueting ladies...just lovely..

Loved the clarity and sentimental moments,
but most especially, the reality in between.

Very pretty duet, Lady Susan's

I think I know, I think I know, I think...
you know...
who wrote what...but it blended as one,
and that is a true duet.

Brava Ladies...

And now we all understand why I have missed the blue pages so much......

Both of you are completely unbelievable alone, so why would anyone be at all suprised when this turned out as phenominal as it did.

Duet again!!!!
