walking the surreal

you tap into my wellspring
of love lust longing
the need
to know
and be known
to be enveloped within
the warm
of your manskin wanting

sip of my soul
swallow my heart
that all I am
may become
part of you
and
thus
all that you are
becomes
part of me –

entwined in essence
ceasing the lonely
filling the hollow
to overflow
the
divine

s.a..t.

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

Eloquent and lovely, the last stanza in particular a poignant reflection of a prevailing malady. To fill and be filled.

May your cup runneth over! ~ and I believe it does! ~ and you write of it so eloquently.

"filling the hollow
to overflow
the
divine"

Yes, well said!  It's how it should be but most times isn't.

"sip of my soul" . . . if this is a sample, it will surely be the sip that refreshes   beautiful poetry, Susan.

Very fulfilling,
and I feel as if even reading this
the love is splashing out
onto everyone who reads.
Quite lovely!
