the indignities of old age,
intimidating infirmities,
the indignities of losing

SELF

that stimulates some
to stage the final curtain call
while they are yet in control
of what’s going on
backstage

should never surprise
those who sense

life can be a crap-shoot
and though death really is
the final indignity

the terms are negotiable

* for hunter *

no kidding,he died like he lived with little regard for rules.

Live like it's your last day...
Dance like nobody's watching...
Love like you've never been hurt...

Forgive my ignorance. But who is "hunter"?
The hunter that came to my mind is the constellation Orion!

One thought that did come to mind is that youth is often wasted on the young. When we are old enough to appreciate our bodies, we're too old to enjoy them! ~ Of course, I am not in either category! "Angels" love to play ~ and we never grow old!

His son Juan said he figured Hunter just decided it was time to go, maybe had nothing more to write or give, rather than despondency over ill health. No note though, so all are left wondering.
