I done writ me a poem and oh lordy be,
That sucker was ugly, as ugly as me,
The meter was awol, the rhyming atrocious,
It stunk like my breath, now that’s halitosis
I’d like to say that it flowed like a stream,
But t’was more like a nightmare, a really bad dream,
Going bump in the night, going this way and that,
Meandering no where, like a peg-legged cat,
No subject nor moral, no reason at’all,
For writin’ my poem, least that I can recall,
It had no beginning and its middle who cares
Where it had gone to, like my once noggin hairs,
And the ending I wager, not one of my best,
Try and ignore it, then forget all the rest,
Well, it’s time to get headin’ off to my warm bed,
And I do apologize, if this poem you’ve read.

Hi Tim....you made me smile, and I'll bet you get a good nights sleep after writing that...I hope so!!  I always enjoy your sense of humor.

lol quite well done, sir!
Made me tired just reading it! And considering it's 2:15 AM, I should probably go to bed. I won't, of course...

Thanks for the laugh!

Always, Alyssa

Now quit making fun of the way I rhyme, Sir...
or I shall have to sit in a corner and POUT.
