set to motion by the ocean of time
tears once living of the giving in rhyme
running so deep, a river's weep of flow
words just turning, life-felt churning and tow

silent this tide of tears once cried and wept
upon which tale would fill thy sail, be swept
a drift of thought which rivers brought and shared
so lost before, against the shore ... unbared

so let my word and heart be heard in such
I've drifted ways of golden rays that touch
pulled in stride my river's tide, now low
always flowing, aching, growing ... the tow

so live to sea, setting it free, don't hide
write forever by the river and tide

"In life's giving ... love is a gift, such worth living."

i ... felt as if i were pulled back and forth (tide-like) while reading your words...and the feeling that rushed over me was such a deep sadness.

i love when a writer can bring me to that level, the level of emotion ... not all can, but, i always wonder if the writer also felt that sadness.

it's a good poem that will make me ramble on like this.

Absolutely beautiful... your internal rhyme reflects the rhythms of the tide... This is excellent!!
