Wanting you
Light becomes the brush of dreams
Backbend round the moon
In torrent running wild beneath my skin
Bringing scream its whitened course
Full and swelled the waters boil and cool
My eyes feather dance your sighs
Looking for the fragile places to be tender
Making shadows more responsive to the light
Surrender lavender to night
That my hands suggest the birth of stars
Giving wonder in a rescue breath
Two lovers drifting on the wrath
Making waves rise higher to heaven
One desire in the stars conspire
Backbend round the moon
Light becomes the brush of dreams
Wanting you
Only you

"One desire in the stars conspire"

Adored that line which fit so beautifully in this flowing stream of magic.   ....jo

TD,
I can't get these lines out of my head!

   "Surrender lavender to night
That my hands suggest the birth of stars"

Oh, the imagery and sensory input!  Enjoyed.

Would you, um, mind if I, um, borrowed a line or two for my next poem?.....there are some in here I really wish I could claim!

There are no favorite lines within this,
only favorite words as an entirety,  the
poem is superb,  so many images, so many
feelings,  simply grand....
