now I lay me down to sleep
I pray my soul to cease to weep

wrap me in your arms of care
please keep me safe from the monsters there . . .

that wait just outside the edge

help me know, please give me faith
protect me from my mind made wraiths

take from me these weighted thoughts
I pray for peace from dubious plots . . .

that linger just outside the edge

all I ask is for the light
to comfort my soul throughout this night

that in your love, I may find some rest
from mental anguish and worrisome fret

that circle me there – just outside the edge

s.a.t.

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

Beautifully pleading soul!

Dear Susan, the inner light never fades, it just wants to be called forth. And I think you will receive what you need, after you uttered these heartfelt beautiful and touching words.

Love, Margherita

Thank you my dear friends - the beginning of this came to me a bit ago when I was feeling low - now I walk again in the light - and i know we oft times make our own monsters, or bid them welcome -

I so appreciate your warmth and friendship-

Hugs - S

always got me
in my big bird suit
and huggy arms

it is ok there

God hears you, Susan. ~ Can you hear Him? Sometimes His whisper is so soft that it is barely audible ~ but He's listening.

I hope all will soon be well in your corner of the world, Sparkles.

You truly do have the soul of a poet ~ and its pleading was very moving.

Linda - ah, such a deep question - I do know that there is something beyond this - I used to believe I knew what/who that was - but now?  Hmmmmmmmmm - very deep question -

Suthern - yes - seems to be a great deal of sorrow in this world.  That's was makes me think that perhaps the tibetin monks have something in their belief that we are meant to progress by overcoming sorrow and finding true happiness-goodness -

Hugs to you both - thanks for your kindness

it is no longer weeping
now contentment reigns
