The eyes of the soul blink rapidly The astonishment of being Life crawls into sight The soul unravels its mysterious cape A siren song echoes with in this tomb Listening to the silence of the many The eternal fire raises funeral pyres The doors have been unlocked Emotions pour out Similar to the water coming from the crack in the dam One wing black the other white A balance deep in side The eternal struggle wages a war The truth sets the world a blaze However a lie chills the warmest of hearts The love of another causes a sunder from the clouds above Ready to meet your maker before your time What is going on in this complex enigma called humanity Darkness pours out The only decision to be made is wrong The eternal sunshine has been eclipsed by doubt Your faith nailed to a cross Beliefs scattered like pages in an up draft I ask what have you learned Maybe that violence is not the key Either way you look at it We all came from the same place So please put down your weapons For the sake of the human race Because if not I do not think you will be ready to meet him Tomorrow comes for those who fear it. Today never ends for those who live it. |

Now, in the course of the daily news, this needs to come to the forefront again... and I thank you for it. |

unlike the other one of yours that I commented on, i think you should go back an revise this with a hard eye. it has potential but rambles too much. the other poem you posted showed you are better than this one shows; i know revising is a PIA but try it. -majnu |
