Rain
beats against the shuddered screen.
The sky is grey in a shroud of cloud.

Wind bends the tops
of savaged trees.
No wings can fly away.

The storm roars loud
upon the world.
The angered waves are high.

God help all sailors out to sea

and those
in the sadness
of their lives.

Extremely well written and much enjoyed.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
an invincible summer.

This is extremely moving.  Your description of the harsh randomness of nature and grief/the vulnerability of man.  I will keep reading your poems. So glad to make your acquaintance here.  The kindness that comes through your poetry is so welcome in these pages.
