An Understanding Friend (for all women)
~ By Sue ~

To feel such love, makes life worthwhile
but, to be so alone, takes all the smiles
to have no one who even cares
someone with whom your life to share

You have no desire to face the day
in bed is where you want to stay
the fears you have are so many
and there is no hope to see

There is no one there to love you
or care what you may do
no one there to pick you up
when life just seems to tough

You do the best you can
and hope someone may understand
all the bitterness you feel inside
and wipe the tears you cry

Anytime you need a friend
someone who really understnds
I will be there to calm your fears
and listen with open ears

I want you to know that, I care
and, I will always be there
to ease the pain you may feel
with concern that is real

You can always count on me
with lots of hugs for free
for I understand the pain
because I have felt the same

Sue, you are have such a warm and loving poetic soul. Yes, many of us have experienced that kind of pain and loneliness, but it is with friends like you that helps them through.

Your strength and light is a beacon to others who are going through what your yourself have experienced. God bless. You are such a sweetheart!

Hugs with much love and admiration,
Linda

Each friend is a petal on a flower and I see a very beautiful flower.
