~~~soft words~~~ what we need to hear is the soft of our conversation, words sprung from yesterday's romance giving back that velvet glance and taking this, that one-more-chance because we can, ~ although we've taken a stand apart ~ we still speak from the heart although not as lovely as once before ...bitter sometimes guards the door... but I need to hear that conversation soft oft as once it came from your lips and spread like silken cloth 'round these hips that once were slender, true but they which still belong to you as you say you belong to me wondering if I want you, see? just as you then wonder of me… so can we store the angry words misplace them, say, or let them go away, silent and unheard? take this hour, take it longer to see if there is still the hunger of what once was in passion's kiss to see if it is something that we've surely missed and find out if there lies aloft a message still from a conversation soft… ~*~ Revised Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises... |
