Your Silence Had An Impact

The reason I was not writing
It was not writer's block
Its because of your silence
I've been in emotional shock

You gave me reason to write
When you kept in touch
Can you recall those times
When words meant so much

To continue without a reason
What's the use anymore
You appear to be oblivious
That I am shocked to the core

Yearning now my only reason
I was still longing its true
Your silence had an impact
Because I feel lost without you

I have re-read this posting to Hope.

It is about Hope but it is straight from the heart of working away.

Dave

You love them or you dont.

I said to my other half today "this is like talking to the Captain on the Titanic who has decided to go down with the ship, even though a lifeboat is there", and that wasn't separation; that was trying to get agreement to spend the money to fix my car brakes and discs.

You have a phone 'decide'!

I ended up with mammoth phone bills from Manila;

I was dragged back from the South of France;  hammered on other sites, and whilst I was stuck in hotels on my own for 10 years out of 15, 3 times writhing around on a hotel floor with food poisoning, I was  forced back home on whatever reason.

My other half can walk out tomorrow, take half and having prevented me from building up things that would have been stable and brilliant, walk away.

Yes I sound pee'd off, but I am now stuck in the South West of England;  I've watched everything I worked for on a career go the pictures as people think I have retired, and all the breakthroughs I made in career, halted because I loved someone, so I will now be reduced to stacking shelves in a supermarket because someone didn't want to be alone and wouldn't move and considered my sacrifice never to be anything.

Dave

This I know so well....and I'm relearning it now, in fact. The smaller the response, the less you want to write...and the less you do write. Then there comes a time when one person you counted on to hear you, doesn't respond....and it's more than your spirit can take.
