wanted: rivers that craved stones to blur darkness so I placed you there : in stars and wild flowers waves of stormy seas how different the beach looked when you were walking it even dreamed of your death how my images wrap you in purple light and red flowers wading through fog now I too have fallen back on silence, I would give all of mine for one taste of your tears, shapes which no longer fill summer rain I sat alone in darkness waiting for poetry to write you back to me but you learned how to fly &my dusty wings were no match ~ I fell before reaching wind ~~*~~ the wind sings with the calm tranquilize in the night sien beauty on my lips ~~**~~ |
