The Morning Dove

The morning dove that flies above
Speaks to me of endless love
It whispers in each breeze that blows
And filters through our mental cloths

It digs into our shawl of lace
To reach into our tender place
And plays a tune of ecstasy
To dance within a fantasy

It irrigates illusions well
To feed the seeds of happy dwell
And stays the weeds within the shade
To make the flowers grow the glade

And there within the field of green
The dove in flight is often seen
Whispering where senses lie
The language of a lovers sigh

It speaks to you within the breeze
And often pollinates like bees

How very beautiful, dear Seymour.

There is someone who choose to call me "Dove" and your beautiful words resound like a tender echo to this (very loving) definition ...

Love and hugs.

Lovely lovely Sy!
I have morning doves who nest in the eaves of my home every year.
~Morning doves, morning hugs, & tea, Nancy~

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
an invincible summer.

Yes...exactly so....a good catch, and some extra yardage.

and the miracle is you're loved...
Even if you're the last on earth
you're loved from up above!!

Sometime I read your poems twice in a row. First for the simple pleasure of the flow of words rolling from my tongue. And once more for the impact that your words reveal.

This is one of those.
