Your heart beats that constant thump, the one I dream about, but I am in a constant slump. The days seem to go by, so quickly now. Together we are in this little room. I am frantic and bored, silouetted in the moonlight. But I know that you are near. Only two more days, I am counting them, each one. Until, I roll over and say I love You. Its not really romance, its stuck inside this rewind, of every single day |

oh. do i know this feeling and i think you've expressed it wonderfully. though i don't see it as i think the others have..... i'm smiling .... because there really is nothing as amazing and torturing as that frantic wait .... it will truly only happen once. love this, very very much. snow "i close my eyes and gather up the puddle of this life, one teaspoon at a time, into a bucket with holes" ~me an excerpt from "she still sees ugly" |

There are wonderfully expressive and creative aspects to your poem, but part I enjoyed the most was ~ "Only two more days, I am counting them, each one. Until, I roll over and say I love You." Those words made me smile...   Linda |
