I Ask

How many dew drops does it take
To wash away a lovers ache
To give surcease a kiss of lease
To fill a mind and heart with peace

Few bells are left to hear in chime
Few grains are left the well of time
The echoes bounce does fade away
For nothing does forever stay

I’ll wait as long as I can wait
I cannot say of time and fate
I’ll hold the world upon my head
And stand and wait until I’m dead

But after that I cannot say
No one knows its dark of way so
I drink dew drops every chance and
Wait fulfillment of romance

I’m sure that such a drink as this
Will bring about a state of bliss

wull, I just had mine, after reading this...

Smiles and hugs

p.s.  The sting I chose perhaps b/c it doth hit home somewhat...

Morning Sy!
I'll be dripping a few dewdrops
into your morning cup of tea then okay?
Enjoyed this morning's read.
~Morning hugs & dewdrop tea, Nancy~

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
an invincible summer.

Because it is evident you love, you will find love, unconditional!  Isn't that the law of the universe.... the law of attraction.  Anyway, I have no doubt you know the answer you ask but I certainly enjoyed your sharing the question.  This will now join my other favorites of yours.   .....jo

This reminds me
of a very, very old song...
one my father use to sing to me...

Thank you for the memory, Sy.
