“didn’t you know…”
with dancing eyes her tale
starts its spin …” that there is a hyena
and he is the fastest animal on earth and
he only has two legs!
And he can change into a unicorn and he
can move his legs to where he needs them
one on his stomach and one on his back
and he has the biggest scariest teeth and he
can change into every kind of lion or cheetah…”

And when questioned about the validity
of this ‘creature’, she assures with
a nod of head and an oh yes, she has pictures
in a book at home.

The serpent with practiced deception
softly hisses “didn’t you know…
that one big BANG created the universes
and there is no proof
to credit creation to a God, who if he had a Son
would preposterously send him
down here to be killed
and sacrificed for all our so called sins,
oh yes a big bang is much more likely.
Just look at all the billions of stars, does
this God have a Son for each of
those worlds too?”

And when questioned about the lack
of proof for such an explosive theory
he quickly turns his trump - no Creator
negates the worry of
eternity.

Nailed to a cross, with arms spread wide
God in the form of a man bleeds His love
to a world of souls not even born yet…
Do you not know
that I love
you
this much?

Lovely this...

lovely you.

So very happy that you have come home,
you were so very missed, and needed.

The greatest beauty on earth, is
found in the hearts of those

ah lady, thank you, sometimes I worry that my poetry is 'preaching' but as I gave my pen to God, He gets to direct the path of the words
*long deep breath* yep I missed being here too

sunshine, thank you, my son's little one and her 'vivid' imagination got this one started but God directed the ending

I saw a child's creature in the beginning and your belief in the end.  So very well done!
