sleep through tonight
don't let the moon wake you
because he's on his way
his clothes are gone
and so is he
you thought that maybe
maybe
maybe
he might not fly
like he always does
he might not leave
like he always does
in the night
while the world sleeps
and while the heart is intact
"love her till tomorrow"
but he never could

sorry it's been so long.

very melancholy write, with that sharp tinge to it. Hard to find a keeper... maybe someday, though, right? *sigh*

A dream of lasting love beautifully rendered.

Nice to see you are back.
