you were just a bit hesitant about how you felt about being a statue bronzed in leather and bagged bare with steal with edges at your pleasure you said the road was rough but you liked the feel of us knocking knicks together and making dent intentions and could we tumble faster just a little for awhile til we reached the water of our favorite cove where I would be your sundown and you would float my warm against the cleft of your bow welding the tin of my beard to your shiver locks willing mating me last as captain of your soothed sin canoe ______________ dark |
