Tigger routine in action...

Sometimes I bounce
like Tigger

and no one
or no thing
can stop me

and not even pooh
will deter me
from doing what tiggers do

best

which is
to bounce back
no matter what misery abounds
or how much pooh gets in our face

~
Thanking Tigger and Pooh today
for getting me out
of my funk
and pooh attitude.

Tigger and Pooh are kind of the eternal yin yang..What we want and what we got.  Always good to hear what is on your mind, Kacy.  Ken

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

"Sometimes I bounce
like Tigger

and no one

We all need to return to "Pooh corner" sometimes, Kacy
Sometimes we are Owl and sometimes Tigger, even Eeyore.

Your poem, built around this wonderful fable, is delightful, even if a different "pooh" is in the theme. It shows a playful, childlike side that is so much needed in this grinding, adult world.

Perhaps you know this poem/song...(excerpt from)

"So help me if you can
I’ve got to get back
To the house at pooh corner by one
You’d be surprised
There’s so much to be done
Count all the bees in the hive
Chase all the clouds from the sky
Back to the days of Christopher robin and pooh"

("Kenny Loggins-"Return to Pooh corner")

Further along in the song, it says...

"But I’ve wandered much further today than I should
And I can’t seem to find my way back to the wood"

Which is what I believe you speak of when you state....

"and not even pooh
will deter me
from doing what tiggers do

best

which is
to bounce back
no matter what misery abounds
or how much pooh gets in our face"

When your way is lost, when the contrived world gets you down, and you get a load of pooh in the face...You can always go back to the "hundred acre woods" I think you know where that is...

Smiling here, Ford. That tune is one of my favorites, and I sometimes hum or sing it to cheer myself up. Loved your reply, and yes, I played with 'pooh' imagery a bit in this version.

Thanking AA Milne, for one of the world's best stories.

Dixie, yes, they are great cast of characters.
Actually, I'd like to surround this entire planet with Milne and Seuss characters.
