An inside scream
letting out the thoughts
that today is going to be
one of those days
wishing the start to be different.

How easily it use to be
to smile at the world, freedom
not just a seven letter word
but a paragraph of happiness.

To be someone else, anyone else,
just for a day, through a door
that swings both ways
for once, to then appreciate who I am,
and take away the feelings of
vacant stares and whispered pain.

I've seen myself inside out
not liking the x ray upon meeting the two
but knowing that taking care of one
heals the other..

M

"wishing the start to be different"

Dear "M" - It's up to us to make our own "starts" - we just need to look at things "differently".  I sometimes see/feel such amazing things in the mundane ordinary that I surprise myself.  But a good write as usual.

you know the problem with swinging doors is that if you remain stationary the tend to pop you in the behind which brings about hind sight. best to move on

reminds me of that movie Freaky Friday where the mother and daughter changed places...it would be nice to just be someone else for a day

but only for a day

“I've seen myself inside out

Self examination does do wonders.
Enjoyed this write very much.
