The Crush of Spine

These hands, open books
a story left for lips, unspoken
to touch with breath
and fold our secrets, a dog-ear
reminder waiting ...
for the crush of spine to palm,
when fingertips stroke the vellum of sensuality,
and eyes, esurient with need,
wantonly lay bare the, "you," of now.
