Suzie asks me to post words
but i'm deepset in the
jaundice of january
drinking chinamoon teacups
brimming with cries of coldcats
and shadow dancing with
hit and run lovers,

the moon is posing
halfheartedly, with
premonitions of approching
forecasts, straining above
the garage sale sign
athat rusts now of
one family's foreclosure,

the snow grows golden
with the pee of poodles
and sombercoated news,

but suzie blooms

deep in the jaundice of january

singing purple haze
and reciting the classics,
in her elton john hat
she dances across the big piano
and brings me the words of a pearl
named janis,

soaked with the tossed tears
and the raunchy laugh
of one aging goddess,

i exchange my calamities
and she offers me her cyberroses

across the great divide
of geography and cyberoceans

suzie blooms.

** for all the cyberfriends that come to us
from a place not based on longitude and latitude
of conveneince, but on heart **

Mish, this gave me a smile for the beauty in it and in your closing comment
and cuz I can just see Suzie dancin around in that big hat spreading her smile everywhere.  Hugs to you both.

Roots
dig
deep
drenched below the snow capped
mounds of
bitter life,
struggling
to breathe
to grasp but one bit
of oxygen
curling, like tendrils
warm in the dark dirt
waiting for the day
they can unmask themselves,
crawling above
a model of hierarchy
to tip their lazy heads
above the cold
to greet the Sun.

Thank you, Michele, I absolutely
adored and needed this.
*laughing* because you described me
perfectly up there ha-ha.
Plus I missed your words.

Look at yourself, you are always blooming.
One day I will send you sunflowers.
*smile*
