voice of koto
hollow hands
on heart of maple
beats rhythm
with echo memory

fingerprint painting
strings
with healing oil
to shimmer songs
from throat of swan

mane of white silk
gallops the pale
wrists cling
to binding eyes
with pleading poetry

and does the sparrow
pose the pillory
of a samurai dream
when the geisha
receives her bondage

with pursy laughter

...but for some
kindness,
it brought forth
imagery
of a didgeridoo
and the soft
slaptapclapping
of mouth'n'hands
that bring it
to life...

how those two stanzas

A wonderful dance through shadow and light as you take me to beautiful places here both in memory and in fantasy....~P

Smiling geisha;
is it meant for me,
or the sunlight in her eyes?

koto string pulled tight
her giggle changes in tune
to taut melody.

Can feel the silk of her kimono... mmmm.
