I Will Entreat Desirous-Shadows of the Soul

Twilight doth forge in accouterments of cinder,
the embers of the kiss yet-to-be.
The invention of hands,
unsure,
as the cloudburst disgorges sensuality.

In that drizzle we’ll bath,
unclothed our desires.

Drawn-out groans will texture,
effulgent filaments,
upon the corselet of our sentiments,
as it January’s glacial exactitude,
of crepe de chine eroticism.
Winged need will articulate,
into Shakespeare’s essays of ink-stained appetites,
and lissome seraphs,
and I will entreat desirous-shadows of the soul,
that away the same,
as an ache would forsake the body,
for the kiss you’d bequeath.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

My love for Shakespeare is growing!

This was delectably sensuous ~ and highly intriguing!

Smiling here, at the imagery this one brings to these eyes.

Shakespeare has always been my favorite poet~
You can try not to convince me otherwise..but I do so believe that his spirit is guiding thy pen~

You leave me hungry for more....Waiting upon the next feast from thy poetic table~

Going for a cold shower~be back later!

Loved every word~

Come, love all of me, mind, body, spirit..feel my passion, taste of me, be filled completely!

your email made me laugh... i'm glad you laughed at my thought about.. "BUGS" *smirk* (keeping my swatter handy heehee)

and... YES, i did notice the new pic. *SMILE*

now.. on to the poem,

too many favorite lines to quote. so again i say... this is one that should be printed out and touched often. as you touch me, with these emotions.     :-)

Reading your words makes me want to read Shakespere - and that, in itself, is quite the feat - lovely this -

Susan

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .
