Gossamer Be the Threads Thou Weaves With Speech

Gossamer be the threads thou weaves with speech,
Come-hither prose betroths mine eyes to thee,
The tapestry hath loosened through the breach,
Need and yea want to a lesser degree.

In this, ephemeral, moment of a awe,
When hued be the images thou has spun,
My sense of distinctiveness doth withdraw,
The beat of our hearts straightaway is one.

Sculpt for me images torn from your soul,
Gift me honeyed words sweetened with your love,
Wed me to the verses you would extol,
Though I’m but a rogue and unworthy of,

This laurel thou gives' without reserve dear,
Thou art my, "everything," upon this sphere.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Trading a smile for a smile EV2...
I read your writes often...both romantic and heartfelt.  A gift I cannot always put into words myself.

"Sculpt for me images torn from your soul,"

how wonderful it would be for someone to be able to not only welcome such images, but, for the other to trust enough to do so....using the word "torn" gives me the feeling that it would be a moment unlike one ever known. to tear from ones self is the ulitmate sacrifice ... the "here is my heart ... please handle it with care" statement that can go unsaid but heard so loudly.... and so  .. i ramble.

damn, this was a lot more thought provoking than i first felt while reading.

i enjoyed this, kevin. very much.
