In the Mood of When

I adopt your nature
never assuming what isn't there,
as I carry a heavy heart
always waiting for that breeze
to touch me, raise me
to lips that press their want,
frustration embedded into the mood
of when.

These early morning thoughts,
awakened by the lack of you,
that fine line so close to erasure
while trying to make it have
some permanence, leaves me
in a seasonal freeze.

To be reflected upon, a wish.
To know the edge of you
seeks the reason of me.
To feel the heat and not the smoldering
that suppresses each outcome,
knowing I am only
a phone call away.

Why does a heart
have to be embraced in silent words
instead of eye to eye dancing,
instead of by the side of your touch,
instead of authoring our own poetry...

I close my eyes to view
what is yet to come,
to erase the darkness that encircles them,
to bring that smile back
and to know the rhythm of life.

M

I believe love is everything spiritual, and the physical side of love is simply, to me...a comodity which God gave us to experience....love is tender, reassuring, kind, giving and taking...trust, and wanting more for the other then for self...can two people go the distance....laying all physical need aside and evaluating who and what would make up your soul mate...a good fit...a team...as compatibility is also an attribute that would compliment the couple.  Sex is and can be a very nice part of love, but is certainly not the whole of what love is...and you, have articulated all these things well...Yes, love is also moods...and two people are not always on the same plain all the time...

One of the best reads I've ever experienced...thank you for your intellectual awareness of life, love and companionship...bless you and keep you always....you will indeed flourish...that I know...hugs

I believe that "true" love is unspeakable ...

... no words can truly fill its meaning complete
for there would be no need for them to be.

... as I find myself here speechless ...

                        beautiful!

Thank you Lee..you always have such good insight...

Reloving, or learning to love again is not such an easy thing for me...

when you have been with someone all of your adult life and then lose that someone to whatever reason, the shock of the times makes it that much harder to begin again and to accept all the changes that have occurred during those years to make a new beginning possible...set in my ways, my once contented ways, leaves me at a great loss.

Thank You Craig, for you words of friendship

hugs

Heart-ripping, wrenching, write.  Well-written emotion.

ohhhhhh...I just give up!!!

a repost:

Meant for You

Relief
from the cold world
that possesses you
For eyes
to open wide
and see the truth in blue
That someday
when it comes
you'll know it's really true
And grab it
while you can
the love that's meant for you
