Starving Me Thin

I found you there...
where you have never been before
deep inside embracing me
through the early morning hours
where I await those senses to be lifted
by your gift of touch.

I lay silent more often than not
aware that my words
could take away the kiss
and leave me dreaming in its place.
It's only words
but words of intent and meaning,
starving me thin.

Those tears that fall,
are for caring and for the hidden
that resides in my unbalanced rhythm of life.
that part of me that is broken
and whose mending is regretfully slow
but necessary to release
and relearn.

And for that I will never apologize...

M

Very emotional, heartfelt words.
