Poor love and grief-stricken voice
Full red lips go down the tongue
Of high arched eyebrows
Until the blood of persistence
Claims Barbie…
And I’ve never been sorrier
Smiles came frivolous…then
Twas the wall of the end
Determination had fallen in love
With what lost me forever
Smiling genuine and real
Swearing to keep me…for it’s
Next meal
Engraving the hehe’s into my mind
With spiky shoes
And for a moment, I sorely regretted
Looking up…

How long has it been….4, 5 years?
No longer wearing sun glasses and
A trench coat
I carry a box of knives & woman’s instinct
Sometimes kicking the sand hard…

You were always late
Uninterested…with pathetic excuse
Stepping on my toes
With stories about your best girls
And how they showed you off

You never realized, it was my family and
Friends, I wanted to show off…
I’m hoarse from your laughs
Nakedness tugs at my hemline
Intentionally losing my way

So, kiss me passionately
Fingering the edges of my heart
Even hardened people have dreams
You’ve watched me long and powerfully
Leaning on the bench praying

My carrier bag grows heavier
Breathing with imaginings
Place your hands around my waist
And stop hiding my keys
Stop changing the colors to suit you
The Test of Time has reached a fading ego
With all to familiar voice
Soon to be non existent

It would take courage to win me…
And a real kiss of true colors
Ahhh, but it wasn’t a win which amused you
Eyes widened and screaming with that
Intoxicated look
Spend me, with your smirk
I hate feeble and glass slippers
Rip me with your sequels
And I’ll update your responses

I’m not a fashion designer
But in theory can sketch your heart
And the cost of hurting
Wants my intention
I say…Kiss me…before you say good-by
Long and hard
Take the chill from my spine politely

Cuz in your mind, it’ll be my fault
When you leave again….
Babe…
I feel equally as bitter
All’s fair in love and war
Isn’t it….?
So kiss me…kiss me hard
I’m all dressed up for romance

Put this back 25 years, and one gets
the image of a stewardess...

or at least, I did...

Well done, dear.

What else can one say but "wow" when one gets back up off the floor.  This one's got quite a punch.  Wonderful as usual.
