Mmm guess what...LOVED IT! Smelling of cigars and cognac. I haven't smoked a cigar in 10 years...but this poem made me remember it. LOL! Oh my Snow this is such a delight. I think I am inspired...heck no...I know I am inspired. 'Tis time the game was afoot. Time to meld words into pretties.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!

Sylvia knew your feelings well....she said

"I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"

and I add...
But the evidence is there that he was real
Ash and Brandy, lilac scent reveal;
Mornings such as these just stay in bed,
Perhaps you made him up inside your head?

The most excellent poetry always moves me with insperation

as this one has...enjoyed muchly

yes, this is it.

If I were to touch you, would you bleed a velvet river, running miracles through the sodden ground? --Moi
