you are like the moon without midnight
without laughter

and you bend perfectly white
from the hard kiss of humankind

that knocks you
at the knees

you plead the deep burn of serenity
and weep for wooded flowery leaves

you are Eve and I breathe you
and I wear

roses in my eyes
and you the ocean

and you cast out your nets
and I say yes in blue

in you

in sea-music

and i knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
~Buckingham/Nicks

What an image...the sea weeping
for want of the forest...

status, m'dear...

Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen?  Keeping in mind, I must stand close...and keep my promises...

You have such a beautiful mind, girlie - and this poem simply reflects that.  To the library!

your poems reach
in places of the unchartered

"and you bend perfectly white

a beautiful way to express the harshness that reality can be..

  cool stuff.

Wow that was beautiful.  I sit under this one like a shade tree and enjoy the breeze of beauty that flows beneath.

Well done poetess groovy girl
