Missing The First Glimpse Of Sunrise

wait                         dark
                                                           wait
           a star                       wait
                            fading
                                                               wait
wait
                    horizon              blur light
      wait
                                  wait
             bird                           sailing across
wait
                                                 wait
    wait for
                            the first gold
                                                         edge
                     wait
brighter
                                   air too cool
                shiver                                   wait
   wait                                soon
               so very
                                   soon now
          wait
                    glance away and --

LOL... I've done just that!!! LOL And you know how hard it is starting the day with the contortions necessary to kick your own fanny? LOL

I like this very much, my friend... it's a wonderful reminder of how much we can miss whenever we lose focus... even for a moment.

Beautiful work... yes! *S*

Many things feel just like this....really liked how you made the feeling come alive!

Ed, this format is definitely not meant for us dyslexic folks with stigmatism!  I missed the sunrise, but I am sure it was truly beautiful.

Ed~
ABSOLUTELY SOLID GOLD~

How artistically abstract, how fitting (one-blink-I-think) to the missing of sunrise~

You rock, my dear friend~

You know I'm proud to know you and to see you do this one~

Ed,

you must get a hold of some Saul Wlliams, he is the only modern writer I can compare to Ginsberg or Kerouac.  This is amazing.
