With a love that had need
to share she reached from
within safe confines
but from fingers to heart
his suspicions charred
until her every move
was singed the color that he
expected it to be.

From the burn
habit traced recoil
and as she sought refuge
from his view of recompense
she swore never,
never again.

Arms clasped tight
her own power
could not would not
move them but with
a Love from above
she understood the reason
to reach out
again.

Never, ever doubt that your muse abandons you...

S/he can't.  S/he just knows when to take a vacation...

ah yes, but I have found that they like to trick us by making us think they are gone
when they really are just on vacation.
It is good to see you back among us and I hold you close in thought often.

Really, there was never any doubt...queries about WHEN maybe, but never ~whether~....

And this....it's a shame to say so in some ways and a glory in others....but your words here are absolutely true as well as being beautifully formed....

May I ditto Ratleader? LOL (You know all about dittos... right? LOL)

Seriously, my friend... I never doubted... your muse has been battered... but like  your spirit... she isn't broken... just waiting for her chance to shine again. *S*

And... here she is. *S* Beautiful!!! *S*
