Dear Daughters

To my daughters of admire
Embers of my lives inquire
That lights my mind as I grow old
And melts the very hold of cold

There’s naught that I could say or do
Except the coming of a coup
When time has drifted in its way
And brings old age again in play

May embers of your lives inquire?
Bring in you your lives admire
To feel the glow I have for you
That makes my heart write as I do

Where love has so enwrapped my mind
I can’t express the undersigned
And I can only say to you
The closest thing would be times coup

I bless you here to see the bend
And feel as I when comes the end.

perhaps there is one of elegant mind,
who has no need to intrude on the solitude of single things.

What a beautiful keepsake of words for daughters to tuck away, Sy.

Though memories are always close and dear to our hearts, having a little slip of paper with these words written on it in black and white, would be a wonderful gift for someone to have tucked into a treasure box where they can bring it out to read over and over again whenever they feel the need for a hug from their dad. Lucky ladies, to be loved like this.

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit
