Whisper - Triolet

It is this, a whisper’s promise
That binds the ties with silken cord
That lends to thought just one love’s kiss
It is this, a whisper’s promise
That rounds in rings, and gives all this;
Nor that fortunes could e’er afford
It is this, a whisper’s promise
That binds the ties with silken cord

Just a whisper in the night
A knee in the back
Snoring to diminish to
Just a whisper in the morning
On another plain
Words to excite to
Just a whisper
At lunch
Advice treasured
To mumblings of
Just whisper in the night

Loved the words Sunshine

Interesting,  this triolet...should the virgin
hands of the elderly try something such as
this?  Perhaps,  but would he be able to even
hold a small candle to her offerings?
I think not.

Oh well done!  I love triolets and rondelets, and this is lovely.
