Yesterday I Died

To Jackie
Yesterday I died,
and slowly
came back to life.
Yesterday I sighed,
and worried,
could I over come?
Today I look up and smile,
Tomorrow I will laugh and share
All that I've become,
with loved ones and my mom.
August 2005

Wrtten a little later as my daughter, Jackie, began to heal. A long hard process. Still on crutches. But getting there. Thank you for asking, best marty

Lee and Seymour,Thank you kindly. Jackie has had six months of operations and healing.But getting there.She will make it,just a little depressed now and then.Marty

i lost my lovely daughter jackie last year to breast cancer
today is the anniversary of when she first told me she was ill
may your jackie live and long and happy life
and never let a moment go bye without telling her how much you love her

Arthur,I am so sorry. I too have lost her sister Joanne, years back. So also know that deep sorrow. I could not have handled it too well if my Jackie joined her. Again,Thank you for writing,I appreciate the time and care you took. best marty

Thank you Arthur. I am sorry for your loss. It is never an easy part of life. We also lost our daughter Joanne a few years back. So losing another daughter would have been too much. Thankfully Jackie is with us and healing.Thank you for caring. marty
